From a father of two to a mission
During my training at the renowned Lorenz Böhler trauma hospital in Vienna I learned classic cast treatment – and had to tell my patients: “A waterproof cast doesn't exist.”
When my own children got injured in 2015, I refused to accept that. I found the solution in the USA, where waterproof casts were long established – but unavailable in Europe.
Since 2016 I have offered the Schwimmgips to all my patients, and since 2026 we ship it across Europe – so a broken bone doesn't break the summer.
